Team roping

This is the man who turned team roping into an art form. No other style of roping- particulary heeling-has been more widely copied, and team roping times today are much faster because of the Camarillo influence. Leo won the world championship in team roping in 1972, 1973 an 1975, the same year he won the professional Rodeo Cowboys Association world all-around title. He was the high-point PRCA champion team roper again in 1976, and holds the record for most National Finals average wins in this event-Five.
