For the love of Donkeys

Elisabeth Svendsen continues her autobiography, started in Down Among the Donkeys, bringing the story up to date. The Donkey Sanctuary has now grown to 9 farms housing 6000 donkeys, mules and horses, being Britain's fifth largest animal charity. Its latest expansion has been the Slade Centre, where handicapped children can be brought into contact with willing and contented four-footed helpers.
