Pygmy Goats*

Lorrie Boldrick, a.k.a. Lorrie Blackburn, graduated from the University of California at Davis, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1968, and has been a practicing veterinarian for twenty-eight years with a special interest in caprine medicine.

Lydia Hale has been raising pygmy goats for twenty-two years with her primary interest in herd management. A founding member of the National Pygmy Goat Assosiation, she served on numerous commitees, was a Director for ten years and President for two. She is now a lifetime Judge's Training advisor as well as a lifetime NPGA judge. She was on the original NPGA Certification Commitee and is currently on the Breed Standard Commitee.
