Sheep Ailments

Eddie Straiton is the world´s outstanding communicator of veterinary procedures and animal care. He earned the title ´TV Vet´ from the long series of television programmes in which he brilliantly demonstrated animal husbandry to a wide audience.

Essentially a practical veterinary surgeon, Eddie Straiton was born in Scotland and qualified in Glascow. He built up from scratch a group of agricultural practices fully equipped with a field hospital, and has had over fifty years´ experience of sheep practice. In particular, he has been renowned for his work on obstetrics. Recently he was awarded the OBE for his contribution to the world of agriculture, as well as his contribution to veterinary science.

Following on from his television experience Eddie Straiton became a profilic author, and more than half a million copies of his books have been sold around the world in many languages.
